It’s been long time since I’ve gone on a solo trip, probably almost 10 years ago to be a bit more precise. As a person who enjoys meals alone and occasionally going to the movies alone, this solo trip was definitely long overdue - to say the least.
I picked Poland for three reasons :
1. My friend, Bea had visited Poland last year and made a damn good sales pitch with her photos.
2. I wanted to go somewhere where I would struggle to communicate at times.
3. It’s heck a lot more affordable than West Europe.
My trip in Poland was rather a short one, covering three cities in about 12 days with a plethora of recommendations from Bea… I’d like to think I made the right decision by not being greedy to cramp in everything in the short span I had there.
I started my trip in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland and I must confess, I had fallen in love with it.
